Mish Mosh of Whatever.

Base - Zoya Adina
White - Essie Marshmellow

I was bored yesterday and decided that it was time I mess around with trying little designs and stripes on my nails. My snowflake came out ok, but the stripes came out pretty nice. Alot of people were noticing my nails, but I only think they were because of how much was going on with them!!! Tomorrow I am going to try and find some Xmas color combos to do and have "presents" painted on my thumbs! I wanted to try and do the light strand manicure. but I don't know if I am able to do that just yet! Any tips? Let me know! Until next time!

Merry (Early) Christmas

Half Moon.......?

I have never attempted the half moon manicure and I think today is the day! Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do it without making a mess? I was thinking of using reinforcers to get the half moon. Pictures to come later! I have no clue what I am going to do for Xmas Eve and Xmas day. I am thinking presents for Xmas Eve and Snowflakes for Xmas day because..... the presents will be open by then and the snow is still holiday/wintery.

Silver and Gold

Chanel: Quartz
Deborah Lippmann: Shake Your Groove Thing

So, I was going out for dinner last night and my red french manicure was starting to chip and I needed a re-do fast! I was not in the mood for a solid or metallic, so I went with the sparkly tips! I had never done this before and I LOVE how it came out! I could't stop showing my family and boyfriend (I'm sure it is something he REALLY cared to see! haha). I painted my toe nails with Essie Pink Diamond with Deborah Lippmann Shake Your Groove Thing sparkles! It looks awesome (but, I am skeptical about putting pictures of toes up)!

You can use your imagination to imagine what this would look like together!

Anyway, it feels great to be home, done with school (notably FINALS), done with LSAT, and done with Miami traffic.... for a little while at least!

Hope everyone has a great Super Saturday Shopping!
So close to Christmas!

It's Officially Holiday Time!

I just got home for winter break (my last one before I am in law school ---- scary)! I am glad I have found a way to calm my nerves when times get tough (notably, exam season).... that is: PAINTING MY NAILS! I am sure many people here can agree with that! My toe polish has been taken off and I dont know what to do next. I want something christmas themed, but nothing to extravagant. Maybe a present on my big toe and do the rest some sort of red green or gold? Anyway, glad to see some followers and can't wait for many more!

Will post pics later of what I choose to do on my toes :-)

(and if you're wondering why there is a Mickey wreath up there, I LOVE disney.... x10000000)

There's a first for everything...

...and today was my first attempt at doing my tips (a colorful french manicure, per se). I usually do a solid (or Sparkly) base and a simple design, but I decided to venture out and try a "tip" manicure. For the red, I used Ruby Jewels (Milani) and for the base, I used Pink Glove Service (Essie). The base color is what I usually use if I am in a rush and have no polish on (it is a simple clean look with the slightest hint of color.
Essie: Pink Glove Service

Milani: Ruby Jewels (this image doesn't do the color justice! It is SO sparkly!)

Not too shabby for a first timer...

New Addition

The name is Pink Diamond (By: Essie) and I love the shimmer effect this color gives. When I change my nails from the purple stripe I currently have on (posted below), I will definitely upload a shot (we all know the real pics of nails show the color the best a pic can). On to study for my LAST horrible lovely final this evening. Trying to get some bloggers to follow along, spread the word! :-) more followers means more motivation to post!

It's Shoe Time!

YES. I just went to get my packages and saw the box I had been waiting for: Vince Camuto. I ordered a pari of shoes that will be great for any night out for a more formal look or to strut through law school next year (but we all know there will be many more shoes to be had by the time fall 2012 rolls around). Anyway, they're called "Callin Black Suede" and they are amazing. They're supper grippy (unlike many shoes that are slippery until worn a lot and torn up by the concrete) with a cushioned sole inside. Fabulous.

Time to add these to the ever-growing collection....

Ho Ho Ho

Good Morning. Hoping to see some new followers later on in the day! Helps me get a momentum to change that polish. The purple stripes will have to do for the day and I am thinking of a new design for tomorrow (any suggestions for good luck on an exam??). I am thinking I may do a "present" design, being that it is Xmas time ---- my FAV time of year --- and it could symbolize a good grade as a gift! I guess we will have to wait and see what design I choose....But, first and foremost it is study time followed by gym time.... and then onto a study session. Sounds fun, huh? 1 day until break. Counting the seconds.

My morning cup-O-joe in only the best cup EVER!

Pop!

Welcome to my Blog, The Daily Polish. Each day (or week, depending on the hectic thing we like to call life) I will post some insight into cool new polish's, nail art, and creations done myself (mainly due to procrastination of studying for school!). My favorite polish brands are: Essie, Zoya, OPI, and, of course, the timeless Chanel. Enjoy!
